Corrections Policy
A transparent process for handling factual and editorial errors.
What should be corrected
Material factual errors, broken source links, outdated regulatory claims, misleading wording and technical instructions that could reasonably create confusion should be reviewed promptly.
How corrections are handled
Minor spelling or formatting fixes can be made silently. Material factual changes should be reflected in the page update date and, where useful to readers, a short correction note.
Source priority
For legal and regulatory matters, current primary or official sources take priority over secondary summaries. For mechanical topics, manufacturer documentation should be checked when component-specific instructions are involved.
Reader reports
Once the contact form is connected, readers should be able to identify the page, the statement they believe is wrong and a supporting source or explanation.
